Welcome to Gringa in Mexico, where I write about life between worlds—sometimes barefoot, usually bilingual, and always with heart.
After five years of living in Mexico, I’ve learned that assimilation is a process that unfolds slowly—through language, legal systems, relationships, and the little things, like learning how to pay a utility bill or find cilantro at the market. This blog is where I unpack those stories.
You’ll find reflections on culture, daily life in Bucerías, navigating the realities of immigration, and what it means to live between two countries with different rhythms but shared hopes.
Whether you’re thinking of making the leap across the border, already living in Mexico, or just curious about a life lived differently—this is a space for insight, honesty, and (hopefully) some good advice.
I’m also building a life that bridges two legal systems. I offer bilingual immigration support for U.S. citizens relocating to Mexico, and I’m currently studying to become an immigration paralegal.
My hope is that by sharing what I’ve learned—about life, culture, and finding your place—you’ll feel more confident navigating your own journey, wherever that may take you.
Thanks for being here.
